MOYA project, Uganda

Sampling methane in Mpologoma swamp

I was a project assistant for the MOYA project in Uganda, sampling methane emitted from soil and papyrus in a swamp near Mbale. The goal was to quantify the amount of methane emitted over a year as the water level changed, which may help to calculate the effect of changing climate on methane levels.
